I'm sorry I've not posted yet but my health has turned for the worse again. You know I can't have a vacation from school and be HEALTHY at the same time right? (#$@&!!!) I went and had those blood tests done for the arthritis doctor, remember that? I went on my birthday, you know, back in December? So this time my doctor added a few more to it and one of them was a mono test that they were suposed to get the results for today. I haven't heard from them so I'm sure I will tomorrow morning. He's also testing me for Autoimmune Disease since I seem to be rather prone to getting strep throat. It would certainly explain the aching finger joints and toes eh? Sigh, and I had photos to post but for some reason my camera won't download again and I just don't have the energy to figure it out right now. What are the photos of? I'll at least tell you that since I can't actually SHOW them to you. I made fingerless gloves out of some left over sock yarn. Now I'm working on another Baby Bolero in a pale pink and have a second baby sweater to make. I'm really hoping I can get them both done by the end of the week because my Socks That Rock should be here later this week and you know I'm going to have to start THOSE! Ok, I'm going to go slink off and curl up in a whimpering ball now. peace.

Now someone thinks they have the right to bug me about posting because they're getting bugged about posting! I guess misery loves company eh? ROFL My spring break starts tomorrow at 3 pm when I walk out of my history class. I'll be off all next week and I do have somethings I will be able to show you. But until then, this is it baby. I have to work tomorrow night, Saturday night, Sunday from 2-9 and then I'm off M-W! YEEEESSSS!!!!! Even though the kids are still in school and there won't be much sleeping in for me, there will be time for reading (text books, need to get caught up again), cleaning and KNITTING!! Boooo Yeah!

Burrrr baby, it's cold outside!

And I f*ck*ng hate it! I soooo hate cold weather it makes me want to cry. I love snow when I don't have to drive in it or it's WARM enough to melt on the roads, but I hate cold! My hands ache terribly, the only time my feet aren't cold is the middle of the night (to Karl's irritation LOL), and an alligator has better skin than I do even though I moisturize like crazy. I hate cold air! ROFL but of course, in the typical human fashion I'll be just as b*tchy in the middle of August but about how hot it is. So, anyway, one more week and I have a week off for "spring" break.

We went to the dentist today and no one had a cavity!!!! I owe the dentist almost $700 from the last set of fillings and I'm damn glad I don't have to add anymore to that amount. Thankfully the income tax return papers came today and we need to sign them, pay the CPA's and we'll have our money in a few weeks. Deep breath, I can wait, I can wait, I can wait. The only thing I really want to do with this money besides getting caught up on bills is get my hair done again and buy an Ipod with a couple of accessories. Oh hell, yeah right, I want, I want, I want, I want.... the list is just too damn long and the money too damn little. *sigh* expect some marathon posting in a week! Peace.

Deep breath - knitting content finally!

Check this beauty out! This is from TSP Meg! Her very talented brother made it and she gave it to me to cheer me up when I needed to be cheered up. This first photo is to show you the beautiful design on it.
The second is to show you the way it looks when the sun is hitting it! Isn't it the prettiest? I love it very much and Meg, you are the best friend! She not only gave me the sun but a bag of my favorite tea, "feel better tea" from Espresso Royal. YUMMY!
And I give you the "Marquette Socks". The pattern is from Not Just More Socks using Lion Brand sock yarn. Karl loves them! Now he has a sweater AND a pair of socks made by me. No they don't match LOL, he'll wear them together anyway I'm sure.

Knitting?

ROFL knitting, yeah, sure. I haven't gotten a chance to take any photos yet and I really need to because TSP Meg got me a few things I'd like to brag about. I also HAVE made progress on the Marquette socks I could show you but alas, it would take to long right now.

I'm just sitting here waiting for my oldest to get off a long distance phone call with his friend from Chicago. The other four have already left to go to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings with my second oldests friend, sister and parents. Then, yippy, joy of all joys, I get to go to work at 4. Which leads me to the date... February 4th. Well, not the 4th specifically, but February.

I don't know what it is about February that I love so much because I HATE the cold with a serious all consuming passion. I think that it's just that much closer to Spring. The light has changed, the days a noticably longer and we get to celebrate a few more holidays, even if they have a stupid furry know it all rodent who thinks it can predict the seasons.... Anyway, just thought I'd share the strange exciting feeling I get when I see 'February' LOL.

Hope knitting is going well for everyone and that you all are staying warm in this cold snap. Oh, and just for the record, I wouldn't take a picture of my kids bleeding ear. How gross! ROFL cracked me up you all did. Peace.
