1) What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?

- separated from my husband and having casual sex with someone else afterwards.

2) Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

- I don't remember making any other than knit from your stash, which I actually accomplished other than special yarn for baby sweaters since I don't have a stash for that. Yeah me!

3) Did anyone close to you give birth?

- Yes, my SIL gave birth to our second nephew 12/19, they're fourth child.

4) Did anyone close to you die?

- only my marriage died.

5) What countries did you visit?

- ROFL, the ones in my head.

6) What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

- strength and confidence that I will be able to take care of myself AND the kids alone. And I'd like to have a better grade point average.

7) What dates will remain etched upon you memory, and why?

- nothing stands out, sorry

8) What was your biggest achievement this year?

- discovering who I am and realizing I really love myself for the first time in my life.

9) What was your biggest failure?

- Not kicking the sh*t out of Karl when he told me he was unfaithful.

10) Did you suffer illness or injury?

- *snort* That's a joke, I'm always sick, I'd have to get my medical records to list them all.

11) What was the biggest thing you bought?

- The Wii.

12) Whose behavior merited celebration?

- I think mine since I'm the one who kept it calm when I watched the life I thought I had and all my future plans shatter into a million shards that I'm still trying to gather together.

13) Whose behavior made you most appalled and depressed?

- well, I don't want to name names but it starts with a 'K' and ends with an 'arl'.

14) Where did most of your money go?

- bills, bills, and more bills, plus a whole lot of stuff we didn't need to purchase.

15) What did you get really, really, really excited about?

- how much I love myself! I know it sounds cheesy but I really do and it's really the first time in my life, plus I get excited about the things that are possible in my future now!

16) What song will always remind you of 2007?

- Feel Good Inc. by the Gorillaz.

17) Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?

- I'm happier, 35 pounds thinner, and way way way poorer.

18) What do you wish you had done more of?

- feeling my feelings, there's a whole lotta anger and hurt inside me. Oh, a couple more tattoos would have been nice.... but soon, very soon lol.

19) What do you wish you'd done less of?

- smoking and drinking

20) How will you be spending Christmas?

- First at home with the kids, then at Karl's parents house, then over at someone elses house *wink*.

21) Did you fall in love in 2007?

- no, I fell OUT of love... not ready to fall in love again yet.

22) How many one-night stands?

- none

23) What was your favorite TV program?

- Ghost Hunters, BBC How Clean is Your House, Avatar, Sponge Bob, and anything science or history lol.

24) Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

- Hate? No. Dislike? Yes.

25) What was the best book you read?

- The Deathly Hollows was the last "real" book I read other than a text book. No, wait, I've read a couple of romance novels....

26) What was your greatest musical discovery?

- Korn, Slip Knot, and the Gorillaz

27) What did you want and get?

- self discovery, new clothes, weight loss....

28) What did you want and not get?

- a laptop

29) What was your favorite film of this year?

- oh boy, no way I can name just one!

30) What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

- Went and bought myself a leather jacket and then went to Buffalo Wild Wings then went over to that persons house and ... well, never mind you!

31) What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

- Not having a cheating husband

32) How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?

- Going a bit goth lately.

33) What kept you sane?

- My kids, my friends and knitting.

34) What celebrity/public figure did you fancy most?

- Diane Lane

35) What political issue stirred you the most?

- the war and global environmental stuff.

36) Who did you miss?

- lots of people, living and passed.

37) Who is the best new person you met?

- Joe.

38) Tell us a valuable lesson you learned in 2007?

- That other people sometimes are not the people you think they are.

39) Quote a song lyric that sums up your year?

- can't think of one right now. I'm sure there will be at least 5-6 that will pop up later lol.
